oh. your car doesn't have an AUX outlet, that sucks. my sister has to do the same thing with her car. so she just keeps to the CDs.

yeah, I usually don't listen to any group that has really young members, it just seems so wrong to me. but I'll definitely give them a listen.

Yeah, it's a bit more of a hassle to keep up with new music on CDs, but for me it's worth it to have a better sound. My next car will have all that fancy stuff, so I don't have to worry about it.

Yeah, I'm the same way, though I can't help but like Mis Snow Man as well. They're really talented I think. But it feels so weird. It's like there's quite an age gap between them and I me. Which is why I tend to stay towards the older groups.

Then..... on the other hand, when I start liking the older debuted groups it's kinda weird too. Like, liking KinKi Kids, or especially SMAP. They be a lot older than me.

OH god yes, I'm still paying for mine now, and I got it in 06. ::sigh:: It feels like I'll never finish.

Yeah, umm, they have Sanada and Nozawa, the ones that used to be with Hasshi before he got put into ABC. And let's not discuss 7, I'm still dealing with like BEST. Who are all just now 18, thanks Daiki for being younger than the rest. But at least Yabu's like a month away from being 20. That makes me feel slightly better.

Oh god, how can I forget about TOKIO. Yes, they are so much fun!

yeah, I'm not going to be finishing my car payments until 2014. whenever I get the bill for it, I wish I had enough money to fully pay the whole thing off and then I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.

oh, ok. I knew Daiki was the youngest among BEST, but I didn't know he just turned 18 this year.... yes, thank god for Yabu.

that's fine. they really are, I love them. as far as the Senpai groups TOKIO and SMAP are tied as my favorite.

Wow, I'm grateful, I don't have to keep going for that long. I think I finish mine in 2012. I think, I'm not good with math anymore. I used to be, way back when I was in school.

Yeah, he did, sadly. Which is why I lean towards Yabu and Takaki, why do I like all the idiots?! Them being the two oldest. But I still love Hikaru too, and lately, I've kinda been noticing Inoo too, but I mean, I don't really pay a lot of attention to JUMP as a whole anyway, and there are 10 of them, there's too many to keep track of. I only really know of the ones I've seen in dramas. But I liked Yabu and Hikaru before seeing them in dramas this year, but that's how I came to like Takaki, thank you Gokusen 3. And B.A.D. too, but they're not quite as young. Thank god, but looking at them I think they are. Mind you only a couple years younger than they are, but still.

I think mine would have to be KinKi Kids and SMAP tied. I'm almost starting to consider Arashi a more senpai group now. I mean they've been around for 10 years. I realize that's nothing compared to the others. But it's still an amazing accomplishment!

I like all the idiots too, it's ok. we're drawn to them because they're idiots and they're adorable idiots. I never really liked or disliked Hikaru, but now thanks to Orthros no Inu, I like him. he makes a hot badass. ok, maybe I'm too superficial here, but there's nothing I can do about it really. I love B.A.D. they're so cute.

I somehow can't bring myself to consider Arashi a senpai group although they've been around for 10 years. we'll see once a new group is actually debuted. it is an amazing accomplishment and I'm happy they've been together this long.

I hate to think that I've graduated high school so long ago, I graduated in 2003, and I didn't go to college, and I really don't have that much to show for it. And it's kinda sad that I've been working at the same job now for 4 years. And that's not going anywhere either. But enough of that!

That must be what it is. Why do they all have that quality to them? I wonder. It must just be like innate or something. Hikaru was awesome in Orthros no Inu. That only made me love him even more. Oh god, I totally think that Hikaru's Orthros character and Yabu's Ninkyo Helper character should meet. It would be awesome.

I really want a new group to debut. And I may be biased on which ones I would like to see, but hell, I'll take anybody at this point, because it's been two years since anybody's debuted, and I feel like we're not doing much with JUMP, they don't even have an album released yet! What's up with that? I feel it's really odd.

But about Arashi, I kinda feel like they're in the middle. They're not quite senpai like KinKi and everyone else, but they're not in the same group as NEWS, KAT-TUN, Kanjani8 and JUMP, I mean T&T are kinda like their own thing too, especially now, since it's more like Tackey and Tsubasa then Tackey & Tsubasa if you get what I mean. Maybe Arashi is just that bridge that connects the two.... oh god, I need to stop watching Playzone. I've watched it like three times in the last two days. And yeah, the whole bridge thing.

I graduated in '05 and it took me three years to figure out that nursing was the best field for me to go into. it took me an extra year to get all the pre-reqs done for it. at least you have a job.

it just lets us know that they're not perfect and we all like it when we can somehow relate to our idols. it was hard to not just stare and drool whenever I watched Orthros no Inu. the combination of the three boys was just a;sldfkjasdl;f lol, that would make for an interesting time.

I don't understand why JUMP hasn't had a CD yet, it's really not cool. they need some love, big time. I have some biases too as to who should debut, I really want for it to be one of the older junior groups.

I kind of group KinKi, Arashi, and T&T (though they're not really T&T anymore. don't worry, I got what you meant) together. but yeah, they're kind of in the middle. I don't really know what to consider them. when you like something, you like something. when I first got KAT-TUNs BtR, it was the only thing I listened to for about two days.

Yeah, that's true, I should be grateful that I do have one. Considering everything. It's kinda funny, because I thought that I wanted to be a nurse. Follow in my Nana's and Dad's footsteps, my Nana is a nurse, and my Dad is a paramedic, but I went and became a CNA, and only worked as one for like a month. I couldn't handle it emotionally. I was working in a nursing home, so it's different. Ironically I'm still working there, just in dietary instead. Not as much patient contact. I only like really working with them when they're healthy.

Oh god, let's definitely not talk about the combo of Ryo and Tackey! God! That was hot! I really did just spend half my time staring and oogling and going uh huh mindlessly. I vote for more!

I would really love to have a JUMP CD too. I mean, they had what 5 concerts this year? And 7 had one on their own too right? With all that going on, how do they not have one? This is one of my biggest complaints that Johnny needs to either do something else with JUMP or move on to the next group. And I agree, I definitely want it to be one of the older junior groups. I vote for Kisumai or ABCZ first, but I'd be just as happy as with like Question? or something. What about you? Who did you have in mind?

I feel kinda bad for them, but not really. I mean, at least they are popular and what not, even more so now with their 10 year and all. But why can't T&T do their solo and group activities? I mean KinKi's been pulling it off for years! We get solo cons, solo CDs etc etc, and still stuff as KinKi.

I remember when I got my BtR CD too. I'm pretty sure that's all I listened to for days. I'm so bad, I do that with everything I like though. I get hooked on something, and then I just want it and want it and want it till I get like sick of it, or the next interesting thing comes along.

oh wow. I don't want to be a CNA, they get treated the worst among the nurses, I believe. I'm going to try and get certified as a Nurse Anesthetist after I get my RN. lol, at least you have less contact with them now.

exactly. I don't understand why JUMP hasn't gotten a CD yet? isn't it typical that when a group debuts, they get a CD debut too? I want one of those groups or even Five to debut. but I think it would be a bad idea to debut Five or Question? separately cause then Ishigaki would be part of a debuted band and an undebuted band...

IKR?! I want to know what happened to T&T, seriously. like you said, it's not entirely hard to be able to pull off doing solo stuff and group stuff. wth T&T?

See, I thought so too. Or at least shortly after debuting you got a CD. Hell, KAT-TUN debuted with both! A single and a CD so what gives? Yeah, I would feel so bad for Dai-chan, because I bet you, he would probably have to quit the other group. If one debuted. And I kinda feel that way about Kisumai and ABCZ too. I feel like if one debuts and not the other, that half of them are getting left behind. Not quite the same as with Question? and FiVE but still, a general principal.

I was having this conversation my friend last week when we were driving. Saying how it's unfortunate that T&T aren't together anymore, I mean, they still are, because there's been like no official statements or anything of them seperating, but they might as well be at this point. And I feel it's not fair to Tsubasa, don't get me wrong, I love Tsubasa, and I think he's amazing in his own right, but Tackey is the one that shines, and if it wasn't for Tackey, I don't think Tsubasa would be as famous as he is. Like I said, I don't mean for it to be an insult or anything, but look at how things are. Tackey's doing so well on his own, and Tsubasa, I mean yeah he's doing his own solo cons and stuff, but he's not getting solo CDs or starring in dramas or doing stage plays or wait, he did do one didn't he? I think. Now I'm confused. But the point being, I think they need to do some more together stuff. Enough with the solo or actually make them solo, not that I want that, but it's kinda not fair and odd to have them in this weird middle stage. It's like they were married, but now are separated and can't go through with the divorce.

Whenever I do, it's only temporary, I always go back. I just usually have to take a breather, but it's never for very long.

oops, that was worded wrong. yes, they are one of the hottest pairings that's happened.

KAT-TUN got the whole shebang when they debuted. he probably would, which I'd feel so sad for cause I don't think he can replaced in whichever group that he quits. but it could be like Ryo's situation where he doesn't quit either, at least Dai-chan won't have to go back and forth between Kanto and Kansai. I can't imagine Kisumai without ABC-Z. it's hard. it would be nice if they could debut together.

yeah, Tsubasa had a stage show and he had at least one solo song this year, I remember watching him perform it on Music Station. but he really isn't as popular as Tackey. I love Tsubasa, but unless I dig and search for stuff about him, I never hear anything about him. Tackey is more prominent and it isn't as hard to find his stuff. I'd love for them to start doing stuff together again. omg, that's the best analogy I've heard about their group activities, or lack thereof.

That's true, it could be like with Ryo, but I think Ryo's case is really REALLY special. Especially if say only one of Dai-chan's groups debuted. It would be really awkward for him to be working as a Jr and as a debuted unit. I don't really see that working. I mean I know Ryo debuted first with NEWS, and then a year later with Kanjani8, so he was doing it, but it wasn't for that long, and who knows what would have happened say K8 didn't debut, would he have been able to stay? But at least if Dai-chan is in two, you're right he won't be having to travel all the time for the two groups work. And I really can't picture them without each other either, but hoping that they both debut together is probably asking for WAY too much. I'd be happy though if they both got to debut separately too. At least they're still at the same level you know?

Okay, so I lied, he did have a solo song, but it was for his tour, it's just not quite the same as Tackey. And thank you, I thought that it was quite clever myself lol. Like I just said before, it's not that I want them to break up or anything, quite the opposite, but I rather seem them either together or separate, not in the middle. And it's kinda funny talking about this, I'm listening to Tackey's Enbujou at the moment, so it's only Tackey, no Tsubasa lol. ::giggles:: I love how he's trying to say "One only love" in Diamond, and it just doesn't come out that way.

If I didn't have to listen to American music again, it really wouldn't bother me at all. I really don't have that much interest in it anymore. I probably couldn't tell you who anybody is nowadays, it all just sounds the same to me. There's a couple of songs you could say I like, but it's just that they don't annoy me as much. That's so bad to say. But I definitely rather be listening to J-Pop instead.

yes, Ryo's case is special in that both his groups were debuted, even though it was a year apart. and if one of Dai-chan's groups debuts, I'd hope the other would debut too. they don't have to debut at the same time but it would be really unfortunate to take Dai-chan out of one of them. I wouldn't mind if they debuted separately either as long as they debuted.

I know that there are certain artists that I'd miss listening to if I no longer heard American music, but for the most part I wouldn't mind not having to hear it anymore. there's more of a variety with the content of Jpop songs, I mean I rarely ever hear an American song that's just about friendship, but there're many Jpop songs about that. most American songs are just about sex and drugs and being pissed off, granted there are some other songs, but those ones are more than likely about love and relationships and whining.

Yeah, it would be really nice if they both got to debut and Dai-chan got to stay in both. But really confusing at the same time. Okay, I give in, right now I don't care who debuts, as long as somebody does! Because no matter who it is, somebody's going to be getting left behind. Sadly. :(

Yeah, Tsubasa is totally awesome. Trying saying it with a mouthful of something, and it sounds about like that. Poor Tackey, his English speaking skills suck. He really should just stay away. I need translations for his English.

That's a good way to put it. There's more variety in J-Pop than in American music. I feel like American music is all the same. No matter the song it's the same story, just being retold a different way. When one person gets a hit, everyone else has to try and copy it. Or do a remake of it. Rethinking it, there might be a couple of songs that I would miss, so maybe not ever again, but very rarely would work for me.

yup. it is the same. there's nothing really original with American music anymore. the only time you find originality is with the underground/unknown artists but originality is becoming more rare in that area too.

No more baby groups! We don't need to try and set a record again for the youngest group to debut! I feel bad enough eyeing Senga okay! I swear I thought that boy was older than he was. I still don't believe he's only 18. I swear he should be older than that. I hate being older than like everyone in Kisumai. Minus Kitayama. Who only beats me by 3 months. ::doesn't totally have all their b-days memorized or anything::

But with MOLA I can understand most of it. There were a few lines I wasn't sure about. But for the most part I got it. And I still say it's because they messed with his voice for it that it sounds so funny. Pi's English is better than Tackey's in my opinion, and I don't think that Pi's is that good. Yeah.

And I don't really listen to any of that. Well, mostly because I have no interest now, and back when I was interested in American music, I had no clue about like anything. Because we're talking back in the like NSYNC and Backstreet Boys days. You know like before half of the Jrs were born lol

I like Question? better too, but it's obvious I haven't really tried to tell their faces apart. the only reason I can tell the drummers apart is because FiVE's drummer kind of reminds me of Tsuyoshi.

I did too, but apparently some people had to look up the lyrics and they were surprised to see that it was English. his voice should not have been messed with. Pi's english makes me laugh. Jin's english used to, but then it got better.

lol. I remember those days. I also remember the days when Black Eyed Peas were Fergie-less and underground. I liked them much better back then. I grew up listening to a wide range of music thanks to my mom and sister. My sister listened to Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B and my mom listened to Classical. no wonder my taste in music is completely varied and yet they judge me harshly cause I listen to Jpop, I just ignore them though.

Ohh, I can tell them apart when I look at them, as long as I'm not just staring at Dai-chan, because that never helps. I remember when I was watching NEWS Winter Party Diamond, it took me forever to figure out who was playing, because all I kept seeing was Dai-chan! I was like, that doesn't help! Need to see somebody else! And I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that! They could like pass for brothers or something!

Aww, only 12 days? That's practically the same! But I know what you mean, they have this thing about them, that says they're older than they are. I mean, not saying that they're old. But I guess a bit of a mature... wait, no, I take that back, I dunno what it is, but yeah, the seem older.

Most of their English makes me laugh. I'll admit that I didn't realize one of Pi's new songs was in English, but to my defense I wasn't really listening to listen to the words. I was just listening to it, the second time I was like wait... is this all in English? Too much English Pi, not good enough at it yet to pull it off.

Yeah, I also used to listen to a lot of different things, thanks mostly to my Dad. I think it's because of him that I like music so much in general. He had me listening to stuff from the 80's. Like Elton John and Billy Joel, who are some really cool artists that I still like today. Some other stuff too, that I don't really remember at the moment. But yeah, I hear the same things as you I'm sure. Nobody seems to get it, but I think I'm starting to find people who do. There's two people that I work with that seem genuinely interested when I tell them. And like listening to it.

yeah, that's the biggest reason I can't tell the two bands apart, cause I always get stuck focusing in on Dai-chan. I think what draws me even more to him is that he's the keyboardist/pianoist and I grew up playing the piano. They really could. They should get put into a drama together where they play brothers, that would make me laugh.

I don't know what it is, but I really did think they were older than me. compared to HSJ, they seem more mature. and I also tend to associate them with NEWS and KAT-TUN because they're in their concerts, so I think they're the same age.

which song was it? is it on Loveless? cause if it is, I've listened to that whole album and completely missed the fact that a song was in english. Pi definitely needs to get better at english before he attempts to sing a whole song in english. however, Jin's english is the most funny, nothing can really surpass "classy like none of these hoes" for me

I just don't actually have any of their songs. they don't really say much, just the typical "why are you listening to chinese music" ...this is really peculiar to me because my mom is Filipino so she shouldn't be clumping all asians together as Chinese... there's also "can you even understand what they're saying" ...umm, with me I don't really care if I can literally understand the lyrics, though I do look up the translations sometimes, but if it sounds happy and upbeat then more than likely it's going to have happy, upbeat lyrics...

OMG! That would be so much awesome! That just reminded me did you see that Akun and Uesato Ryota from FiVE are going to be in Sho's new drama? That should be interesting. Akun!!! In a drama!!! And Ryota too.

Well, some of them are. It's really odd. I mean Tegoshi, Shige, Fujigaya and Kawai are all the same age. And when I go and think about that, it just doesn't make sense in my head. I see Shige and Tegoshi being older because they are debuted. And hell, all of BEST minus Daiki is older than Senga. I try not to think about this too much, because it gets confusing.

Yeah, it was from Loveless. There's one that's completley in English and the other two are like half in English. That whole song is funny. Let's just admit it. Lovejuice as provocative as it is, is also just as funny. Though it's the one song I won't play when I'm at work. I would die if it did. Because it's understandable enough. The rest of everyones English I don't worry too much about. It's just KAT-TUN's. A couple of weeks ago I was playing the QoP con, and you know how Jin goes "Put your fucking hands up in the air and make some noise" during Six Senses? Yeah, the guy I was working with, is standing by the radio when I walked into the kitchen, and I realized that that was the song that was playing, and it was past that part, then I hear him put the song back to listen to it again. And then he turns to me with this questioning look. And all I could do was laugh and go "Yes, he said exactly what you thought he did"

Yeah, those are the same things I get. But I've finally got my parents to realize that it's Japanese, but they still make fun of it or call it Chinese or something. And EVERYONE always asks me that. "Can you understand that?" It's like, a little, but it's not about understanding it, and I look up translations too. Because it is nice to know what they're saying sometimes. But it's like, I like it because I do. And I always tell people, I don't understand all the English lyrics in songs on the radio so why does it matter if I can understand all of the songs I'm listening to. And it's true. Half the time I can't make out what people are saying in the songs on the radio.

yeah, and technically Fujigaya is a little older than Shige and Tegoshi, since their birthdays are in July and November, but idk, I somehow think Shige is older than me cause he just seems that way and I think Massu is younger than me. their ages get me all confused, but I usually just clump Kisumai into K-T's and NEWS' age range. even though Senga is younger than BEST and Nikaido and some of the others are the same age as BEST.

oh... I got the two that were half in English but I didn't notice the full English one >_> Lovejuice is funny, whenever that or Mola plays on my laptop or iPod and I'm around my cousin, all she can say is "cover your privacy" and it's just the funniest sight ever TMI I know, but it was to prove a point somehow. that's hilarious, damn Jin. he's just going to get you into trouble at work, it's probably best to avoid playing K-T unless it's completely in Japanese or the really bad English they had on the Best of KAT-TUN album.

I hate that anything that's Asian automatically gets called Chinese. Japanese sounds completely different, it's not even funny how big of a difference there are between the two. and it really doesn't matter if we know what they're saying or not. I don't either. I'll hear a line or two of the song and think in my head, "what? was that even english?"

I just found out myself. I'm totally excited for it. Because it's Akun! OMG! Akun be so awkward sometimes. I wonder what kind of character he plays. I hope it's something close to how he normally is.

Yeah, that's true. I think Shige is older than me too. He's just got this adult persona working for him. I know, their ages get to be so confusing. Because when I think of Jrs, I think younger than the debuted ones, but definitely not the case. And I really thought that Kisumai as a whole was older, thinking they were all at least 20. And that was when I first saw them like a year and a half ago. Senga's looked the same since he was like 16. Back then I thought he was older. Another good example. Goto! I thought he was older too, I love him even more now that he's with Question? but he's the baby! Question? had a baby too. They had to compete with ABC. Just as long as they don't become KisH-My-Ft2 anytime soon it's all good. Because you know how Hasshi is staying with Kisumai for Kakumei because ABC are split between that and She Loves Me.

But, that's the one that my chef likes. She even remembers their name! She'll ask me specifically to play KAT-TUN. And she understands their not so good English on the Best of album.

Me too. They're completely different. They don't sound the same at all. It's quite easy to tell that there's a difference. This is why I feel it's necessary to inform people of exactly what I'm listening to now. I never used to want to tell anybody, but now I don't really care. And I want them to get it right. I love it the most when I knew what they were saying in Japanese but didn't understand the English line. It's like, that's kind of backwards, somethings wrong with that.
