Really? Maybe I'm just more used to Question? but I can usually tell them apart, because I don't really know as much of FiVE as I do of Question?..... I guess I'm a bit biased on which group I like better.

No more baby groups! We don't need to try and set a record again for the youngest group to debut! I feel bad enough eyeing Senga okay! I swear I thought that boy was older than he was. I still don't believe he's only 18. I swear he should be older than that. I hate being older than like everyone in Kisumai. Minus Kitayama. Who only beats me by 3 months. ::doesn't totally have all their b-days memorized or anything::

But with MOLA I can understand most of it. There were a few lines I wasn't sure about. But for the most part I got it. And I still say it's because they messed with his voice for it that it sounds so funny. Pi's English is better than Tackey's in my opinion, and I don't think that Pi's is that good. Yeah.

And I don't really listen to any of that. Well, mostly because I have no interest now, and back when I was interested in American music, I had no clue about like anything. Because we're talking back in the like NSYNC and Backstreet Boys days. You know like before half of the Jrs were born lol

I like Question? better too, but it's obvious I haven't really tried to tell their faces apart. the only reason I can tell the drummers apart is because FiVE's drummer kind of reminds me of Tsuyoshi.

I agree. we don't need a youngest group again. Senga's only 18? eh?! I had to look up their birthdays just right now. Kitayama and Yokoo are older than me and I'm older than Fujigaya by 12 days. looking at them, they give me the impression that they're older than me.

I did too, but apparently some people had to look up the lyrics and they were surprised to see that it was English. his voice should not have been messed with. Pi's english makes me laugh. Jin's english used to, but then it got better.

lol. I remember those days. I also remember the days when Black Eyed Peas were Fergie-less and underground. I liked them much better back then. I grew up listening to a wide range of music thanks to my mom and sister. My sister listened to Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B and my mom listened to Classical. no wonder my taste in music is completely varied and yet they judge me harshly cause I listen to Jpop, I just ignore them though.

Ohh, I can tell them apart when I look at them, as long as I'm not just staring at Dai-chan, because that never helps. I remember when I was watching NEWS Winter Party Diamond, it took me forever to figure out who was playing, because all I kept seeing was Dai-chan! I was like, that doesn't help! Need to see somebody else! And I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that! They could like pass for brothers or something!

Aww, only 12 days? That's practically the same! But I know what you mean, they have this thing about them, that says they're older than they are. I mean, not saying that they're old. But I guess a bit of a mature... wait, no, I take that back, I dunno what it is, but yeah, the seem older.

Most of their English makes me laugh. I'll admit that I didn't realize one of Pi's new songs was in English, but to my defense I wasn't really listening to listen to the words. I was just listening to it, the second time I was like wait... is this all in English? Too much English Pi, not good enough at it yet to pull it off.

Yeah, I also used to listen to a lot of different things, thanks mostly to my Dad. I think it's because of him that I like music so much in general. He had me listening to stuff from the 80's. Like Elton John and Billy Joel, who are some really cool artists that I still like today. Some other stuff too, that I don't really remember at the moment. But yeah, I hear the same things as you I'm sure. Nobody seems to get it, but I think I'm starting to find people who do. There's two people that I work with that seem genuinely interested when I tell them. And like listening to it.

yeah, that's the biggest reason I can't tell the two bands apart, cause I always get stuck focusing in on Dai-chan. I think what draws me even more to him is that he's the keyboardist/pianoist and I grew up playing the piano. They really could. They should get put into a drama together where they play brothers, that would make me laugh.

I know it's practically the same, but... but... I have nothing. I don't know what it is, but I really did think they were older than me. compared to HSJ, they seem more mature. and I also tend to associate them with NEWS and KAT-TUN because they're in their concerts, so I think they're the same age.

which song was it? is it on Loveless? cause if it is, I've listened to that whole album and completely missed the fact that a song was in english. Pi definitely needs to get better at english before he attempts to sing a whole song in english. however, Jin's english is the most funny, nothing can really surpass "classy like none of these hoes" for me

I like Elton John and Billy Joel too. I just don't actually have any of their songs. they don't really say much, just the typical "why are you listening to chinese music" ...this is really peculiar to me because my mom is Filipino so she shouldn't be clumping all asians together as Chinese... there's also "can you even understand what they're saying" ...umm, with me I don't really care if I can literally understand the lyrics, though I do look up the translations sometimes, but if it sounds happy and upbeat then more than likely it's going to have happy, upbeat lyrics...

OMG! That would be so much awesome! That just reminded me did you see that Akun and Uesato Ryota from FiVE are going to be in Sho's new drama? That should be interesting. Akun!!! In a drama!!! And Ryota too.

Well, some of them are. It's really odd. I mean Tegoshi, Shige, Fujigaya and Kawai are all the same age. And when I go and think about that, it just doesn't make sense in my head. I see Shige and Tegoshi being older because they are debuted. And hell, all of BEST minus Daiki is older than Senga. I try not to think about this too much, because it gets confusing.

Yeah, it was from Loveless. There's one that's completley in English and the other two are like half in English. That whole song is funny. Let's just admit it. Lovejuice as provocative as it is, is also just as funny. Though it's the one song I won't play when I'm at work. I would die if it did. Because it's understandable enough. The rest of everyones English I don't worry too much about. It's just KAT-TUN's. A couple of weeks ago I was playing the QoP con, and you know how Jin goes "Put your fucking hands up in the air and make some noise" during Six Senses? Yeah, the guy I was working with, is standing by the radio when I walked into the kitchen, and I realized that that was the song that was playing, and it was past that part, then I hear him put the song back to listen to it again. And then he turns to me with this questioning look. And all I could do was laugh and go "Yes, he said exactly what you thought he did"

Yeah, those are the same things I get. But I've finally got my parents to realize that it's Japanese, but they still make fun of it or call it Chinese or something. And EVERYONE always asks me that. "Can you understand that?" It's like, a little, but it's not about understanding it, and I look up translations too. Because it is nice to know what they're saying sometimes. But it's like, I like it because I do. And I always tell people, I don't understand all the English lyrics in songs on the radio so why does it matter if I can understand all of the songs I'm listening to. And it's true. Half the time I can't make out what people are saying in the songs on the radio.

*gasp* really? I'm so watching that.

yeah, and technically Fujigaya is a little older than Shige and Tegoshi, since their birthdays are in July and November, but idk, I somehow think Shige is older than me cause he just seems that way and I think Massu is younger than me. their ages get me all confused, but I usually just clump Kisumai into K-T's and NEWS' age range. even though Senga is younger than BEST and Nikaido and some of the others are the same age as BEST.

oh... I got the two that were half in English but I didn't notice the full English one >_> Lovejuice is funny, whenever that or Mola plays on my laptop or iPod and I'm around my cousin, all she can say is "cover your privacy" and it's just the funniest sight ever TMI I know, but it was to prove a point somehow. that's hilarious, damn Jin. he's just going to get you into trouble at work, it's probably best to avoid playing K-T unless it's completely in Japanese or the really bad English they had on the Best of KAT-TUN album.

I hate that anything that's Asian automatically gets called Chinese. Japanese sounds completely different, it's not even funny how big of a difference there are between the two. and it really doesn't matter if we know what they're saying or not. I don't either. I'll hear a line or two of the song and think in my head, "what? was that even english?"

I just found out myself. I'm totally excited for it. Because it's Akun! OMG! Akun be so awkward sometimes. I wonder what kind of character he plays. I hope it's something close to how he normally is.

Yeah, that's true. I think Shige is older than me too. He's just got this adult persona working for him. I know, their ages get to be so confusing. Because when I think of Jrs, I think younger than the debuted ones, but definitely not the case. And I really thought that Kisumai as a whole was older, thinking they were all at least 20. And that was when I first saw them like a year and a half ago. Senga's looked the same since he was like 16. Back then I thought he was older. Another good example. Goto! I thought he was older too, I love him even more now that he's with Question? but he's the baby! Question? had a baby too. They had to compete with ABC. Just as long as they don't become KisH-My-Ft2 anytime soon it's all good. Because you know how Hasshi is staying with Kisumai for Kakumei because ABC are split between that and She Loves Me.

But, that's the one that my chef likes. She even remembers their name! She'll ask me specifically to play KAT-TUN. And she understands their not so good English on the Best of album.

Me too. They're completely different. They don't sound the same at all. It's quite easy to tell that there's a difference. This is why I feel it's necessary to inform people of exactly what I'm listening to now. I never used to want to tell anybody, but now I don't really care. And I want them to get it right. I love it the most when I knew what they were saying in Japanese but didn't understand the English line. It's like, that's kind of backwards, somethings wrong with that.

Akun's awkwardness is cute though. I hope he plays a character close to what his personality is, but if he plays the complete opposite and pulls it off well, then it shows that he can be a good actor.

I think the same thing when I think of the Jrs. When I first found out that a few of the members of Kisumai were around my age, I got all confused. I think it's nice that each group has a baby.

lol. that's amazing she can understand the english on the Best of album. honestly, when I first heard Gold, I went to look up the lyrics translation :\

they really don't. Japanese seems to flow more nicely to me. when my sister first saw me watching a Jdrama, she asked "why are you watching Chinese?" and I told her "it's Japanese. there's a difference." she then replied with "all the Asian languages sound the same to me." my reaction: O_O I'm the same, I can understand the Japanese lyrics more than the English lyrics. I think they should keep with just using Japanese, unless their English is comprehensible.

That's true too. Either way it will be interesting.

I love when they have babies! It's so funny. I don't know why but it is.

Okay, well, not all of it, hell, I still can't get all of it, especially for Gold, but she does get quite a bit, it's scary sometimes. She understood KinKi's english, and their's isn't that great.

Yeah, I'm the same way, I may not be able to tell you what language it is, but I can always hear a difference between different ones.

I agree, less English, unless you're good at it.

it really should. the only time I've seen Uesato Ryota act is in some of the episodes of Kowai Nichiyobi.

having babies in the group is just plain adorable.

whenever I think of KinKi and their english, I always end up remembering the episode of Domoto Kyoudai where Koichi just kept saying "Bear" my cousin got so sick of me copying him.

I can tell the difference between Japanese, Chinese, and Korean and that's about it... I'm not including Filipino cause I grew up hearing it all the time.

Posted by [identity profile] virtuoussin85.livejournal.com
I've never seen him before, you know, except as FiVE so that'll be interesting too.

I have to say, I compared Goseki having Hasshi to me having the kid that I work with. We just suddenly got to be in charge of babies. Not that I'm actually in charge, but I feel like I am sometimes.

I've never seen that. I think I've only seen like a couple of clips of Domoto Kyoudai. I don't really watch those that much. Their's or anybody elses. Well, except for Arashi's. I've seen all of D & G no Arashi lol.

Well, obviously I know when it's Japanese. I'm usually pretty good at figuring out Korean. I'm kinda into Big Bang a bit at the moment, thanks to the other guy I work with. He's a big K-Pop fan. Sometimes I can figure out Chinese, but I feel like there's so many versions of it! And I be white, and only grew up on English.

oh. I had this thing where I wanted to watch Kowai Nichiyobi and he just happened to be in some of the eps. I like watching "scary" things, it's like an addiction to me.

nice. it's nice to feel like you're in charge over someone.

here, if you ever want to watch it Tegomass was the guest. and I might've lied kind of, it's both Koichi and Tsuyoshi who say 'bear' but Koichi saying it makes me laugh more. I love watching the variety shows, it's just so hilarious.

I can't figure out the difference between the many versions of Chinese. Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, Malaysian... they all sound the same to me. sadly, I can't speak any Filipino at all. I'm half, my dad's white. but I grew up with my mom and her family so you'd think I'd be able to speak, but no. I said this to one of my other friends once, "I can speak a little Japanese, broken French, and brokener Filipino"

Ohh I love scary things. And I'm pretty sure I have a bunch of those downloaded, I just haven't watched them yet. I should.

I'll save it, maybe someday I'll watch it. And it's kinda weird. Because I do love watching the variety shows, they are just too funny, and that's where all the good crack comes from, but I just never seem to watch that many.

Aww, that's kinda sad that you don't know the langauge. And that's kinda funny about the French, I took it for 3 years, don't really remember that much though.

on 2009-12-16 02:03 am (UTC)

it never really scared me though. like I would watch it, and my sense of feeling scared would never be fulfilled.

ok. if you want to download it, here
yes, the variety shows are so hilarious. they crack me up so much. but I haven't been watching much of anything lately. I'm gonna have to go stalking through a certain fansubber's lj for all the videos she's subbed lately.

yeah. I took it for 3 years too, but I fail at speaking it. most of the time, I just end up saying "J'ai oublié" if someone tries to speak to me in French.

Yeah, I have that problem with scary things too. When it's trying to be scary, I'm never scared. It's when it's not trying that it usually gets me.

I'm just starting to get back into watching dramas again. I took like a month break from watching anything. Besides a couple of things here and there. I ended up watching quite a few movies though. So that was nice and different.

I think I would just stare dumbly at them. That's pretty much what I do now when people start speaking Spanish to me. Pretty much everyone I work with is Spanish, well from the Dominican Republic. And I've still yet to pick up a single word of Spanish.

on 2009-12-16 02:30 am (UTC)
Posted by [identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com
exactly. and it's rare for me to find that ones that don't try to be scary. I recently went to watch The Sixth Kind and Paranormal Activity and neither of those two movies scared me.

I like watching the movies. I haven't finished a full drama since July. I usually finish watching them within one or two days, but I got so busy in August that I haven't had time for watching anything. I'm going to catch up on it all starting this weekend.

I live in LA, where basically almost the entire population speaks Spanish and I've never picked up on any words other than hola, adios, gracias

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've heard that they weren't that great, or maybe that was something else. I work with a movie nut too, so she's always telling me about different movies and what not. So I can't always remember. I get more scared by like real life stuff. Like for instance, Poseidon, scared me a lot. But I also have a fear of drowning, and I dunno why.

Ahh, that's the beauty part of not having to go to school. ^_^ as long as I'm not working, I have all the free time I want. Which sometimes sucks.

They try to teach me, they really do, but I swear it's just because I don't want to learn that I'm not getting anything.

Posted by [identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com
I never watched Poseidon. I've never even watched the Exorcist and that's like the staple movie to watch for anyone who loves scary movies. I did see the Poltergeist movies though when they were played on TV when I was younger. and sadly, they didn't really scare me. in all honesty, the only reason I act scared when I watch something is because of the music that plays. the music is what gets me anxious, but then once the thing that's supposed to be scary pops up, my reaction is basically "that's it?" and I get so disappointed. I have a fear of drowning too, which is why I stick to only swimming in swimming pools. I have a fear of heights too, but I love roller coasters.

having a lot of free time can suck, but it's better than constantly being busy. even though I'm basically always on LJ, but it helps to keep me from going insane.

in high school, when all of my friends were taking Spanish and I was taking French, they'd always ask me why I took French because it would make more sense to take Spanish. and all I could say is "I like French better and I want to go to France one day"

on 2009-12-16 03:02 am (UTC)

I haven't seen the Exorcist either. I don't think I've seen the Poltergeist movies, but I did see something with one in it, I think, not that I can really remember it now. It's been a while, and my memory kinda sucks. I swear have early dementia from being around old people all the time. And I know that feeling. I get so worked up, thinking, this is going to be scary, this is going to be good, and then something happens, and it's always, wait? That's it. Like I laughed my way through all the Chucky movies, though those are supposed to be kinda scary, the Ring, the Grudge, all those too. I mean, they were kinda ooh, creepy, a little freaked for a couple of minutes, but nothing like OMG! There was one movie that I started to watch, and it started freaking me out, because I'll purposely wait and watch scary movies at night in the dark. I don't remember what it was now, but it really started to freak me out and I decided to not watch it. Hmm, really need to remember what it was now.

Which is why I try to find things to do, and yet, usually on the days that I work, I just end up coming home and going on the computer. Waste a few hours, and go to bed.

LMAO! That's so odd, because that's the same thing with me. I swear, I remember saying the exact same thing. Everyone was like, Spanish will be better, it'll be more useful. But I was like, I like French. I don't wanna take Spanish. I wanna go to France. I still kinda do, but not that much.

on 2009-12-16 03:10 am (UTC)
Posted by [identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com
I want to know what that movie is now too. I haven't watched any of the Chucky movies except for Bride of Chucky and it did not scare me one bit. I laughed through all of the Ring and the Grudge movies too. I have to say that I like the Japanese versions better, but they still didn't scare me. though with the J-version, I didn't really laugh. the last movie that really scared me was Carrie and I forgot how old I was when I saw it on TV during Halloween one year, but I know I was younger than 10.

wasting a few hours on the computer is perfectly legit.

lol. I think French flows much more nicely than Spanish. just like how Japanese flows nicely. I like languages that flow nicely, I've noticed. I have a traveler's heart I think. I'd love to visit everywhere around the world. France and Japan are my absolute number one countries to go to.

Bride of Chucky was hilarious! I don't even think they were trying for scary any more with that one. I've seen both versions too. Of the Grudge and Ring, the American remakes were kinda funny and ridiculous. The originals were better, but still not as scary as everyone made them out to be. Which is very sad. I haven't seen Carrie.

That's good. Because it's one of my favorite hobbies. My computer is my main sense of entertainment. But it can do everything! I mean, I don't have a TV or phone in my room. Well, a house phone. I do have my cell. Not that I really use it.

Yeah, I think I know what you mean with that. It's kinda the same for me. There's just a way to how it sounds. That makes it sound really nice. I dunno if I have a traveler's heart, because sometimes, I want to be adventorous and go out and explore places. I would really love to travel somewhere far. I've barely gone anywhere. I think the furthest I've traveled before is Pennsylvania and I live in Connecticut. I've never left the NE before. Which is kinda sad.

it would be sad if they were trying to for scary in that one. I'd have to laugh at their fail as well as the movie. yeah, the reason I watched the originals was because everyone was saying that they're scarier. I was utterly disappointed, but I still liked it. I don't really remember what happened in that movie, I only remember being scared.

computers are fun and keep you connected to people. I have a TV, but I don't really watch it. except for right now, since my cousin bought the boxset of Goong. I've already watched the drama, with better subs, on my laptop but I'm rewatching the boxset cause the subs are hilariously bad. one of my friends, the same one that likes Bitter Moon, doesn't have a cell phone. he thinks they make people to available.

I kind of have an adventurer's heart too. every now and then I just want to get lost somewhere and explore it and I want to answer to that sense of adventure but I don't want to do it alone. I'd take my cousin with me, but our free times are off. like when I'm free, she's busy and vice versa. I've been to Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. so basically, other than Florida and Georgia, I've never been outside of the west coast.

Yeah, it would be really sad if they were trying for scary. I hope not. Because that would just make it all the more funnier too.

The guy I talked about before that I work with, the one who likes K-Pop watched that one, that's the only reason I've heard of it. It's like in his top three dramas. I remember that one and Full House. Both of which I've never seen. I've watched like two or three episodes of Full House, but I don't really like it, I dunno. I think it might be because it's Korean too. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean anything by it, but it just sounds so weird to me. It's so different from what I'm used to hearing. It was kinda confusing.
About the cell phones, I can get that. Me and my Dad are the only ones in my family that have them, but he kidna needs one for work. Because he's always out on the road, so he needs to be available. And I just have one, because it's cool. And I want to be able to stay in touch with my friends. But I barely use it for calls. Just mostly texts.

Wow, it's kinda scary how much we're alike. I get scared when I'm by myself, but if I have my friend with me, then I don't care. I'm really up for anything. I'm glad our free times usually match up, and if not, we make it work. It's even easier now that she's not in school anymore. She graduated this year from college. Finally. But you've still been more places than me. I've just been to Massachusettes, but does it count if you used to live there? I was born there, then moved to CT when I was 10. I've also been to NY, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, Pennsalyvania. And any states need to go through to get to those ones. I don't remember what's in between here and Penn. But I never did anything there. So I don't think it really counts that much.

*nods*

I like Goong. it's a nice drama. I haven't watched Full House, but I've been meaning to. I was talking with one of my friends, the guy who likes Bitter Moon (he's been coming up quite a bit), about the Korean language. I forgot what he said it was something along the lines of not being a fan of the language, so I replied with "Korean sounds like people talking while chewing their food to me" and his response was something like "that sounds right."
I rarely ever use my cell phone for talking. I use it to text, surf the internet when I don't have my laptop, and play games.

oh wow. it's nice that your free times match up. I'd love for mine and my cousin's free time to match up. it probably also doesn't help though that she lives about 40 miles away from me. it still counts if you used to live there, I think. you've probably been to more states than I have actually. I've gone to Florida because I have family there and since they live in northern Florida, they often drive to Georgia to shop at the outlets there. oh wait, I have been to more states than you. I forgot that I've been to Oklahoma and Wisconsin, thanks to old school activities that I was involved in before transferring back home.

Now that you put it that way, I think that is what Korean sounds like. That's a really good way to put it.

I would use my phone for the internet, but I don't want to have to pay for it. And I don't get to use it that often anyway, I mean, whenever I would have time to go online with it. I'm usually near a computer anyway. So it doesn't matter. I usually just play games on my iPod though rather than my cell. Actually that's what I got it for, I have the iTouch now. Because I wanted to play games on it. And I thought I needed a new iPod in general anyway.

Yeah, it is, and it doesn't hurt that my friend only lives like 15 minutes from me too. Though since I moved, we're not in the same city anymore, but we're still close enough that it barely matters.

You've been quite a few places. I really think I need to start traveling more.
