it would be sad if they were trying to for scary in that one. I'd have to laugh at their fail as well as the movie. yeah, the reason I watched the originals was because everyone was saying that they're scarier. I was utterly disappointed, but I still liked it. I don't really remember what happened in that movie, I only remember being scared.

computers are fun and keep you connected to people. I have a TV, but I don't really watch it. except for right now, since my cousin bought the boxset of Goong. I've already watched the drama, with better subs, on my laptop but I'm rewatching the boxset cause the subs are hilariously bad. one of my friends, the same one that likes Bitter Moon, doesn't have a cell phone. he thinks they make people to available.

I kind of have an adventurer's heart too. every now and then I just want to get lost somewhere and explore it and I want to answer to that sense of adventure but I don't want to do it alone. I'd take my cousin with me, but our free times are off. like when I'm free, she's busy and vice versa. I've been to Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. so basically, other than Florida and Georgia, I've never been outside of the west coast.

The guy I talked about before that I work with, the one who likes K-Pop watched that one, that's the only reason I've heard of it. It's like in his top three dramas. I remember that one and Full House. Both of which I've never seen. I've watched like two or three episodes of Full House, but I don't really like it, I dunno. I think it might be because it's Korean too. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean anything by it, but it just sounds so weird to me. It's so different from what I'm used to hearing. It was kinda confusing.
About the cell phones, I can get that. Me and my Dad are the only ones in my family that have them, but he kidna needs one for work. Because he's always out on the road, so he needs to be available. And I just have one, because it's cool. And I want to be able to stay in touch with my friends. But I barely use it for calls. Just mostly texts.

Wow, it's kinda scary how much we're alike. I get scared when I'm by myself, but if I have my friend with me, then I don't care. I'm really up for anything. I'm glad our free times usually match up, and if not, we make it work. It's even easier now that she's not in school anymore. She graduated this year from college. Finally. But you've still been more places than me. I've just been to Massachusettes, but does it count if you used to live there? I was born there, then moved to CT when I was 10. I've also been to NY, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, Pennsalyvania. And any states need to go through to get to those ones. I don't remember what's in between here and Penn. But I never did anything there. So I don't think it really counts that much.

I like Goong. it's a nice drama. I haven't watched Full House, but I've been meaning to. I was talking with one of my friends, the guy who likes Bitter Moon (he's been coming up quite a bit), about the Korean language. I forgot what he said it was something along the lines of not being a fan of the language, so I replied with "Korean sounds like people talking while chewing their food to me" and his response was something like "that sounds right."
I rarely ever use my cell phone for talking. I use it to text, surf the internet when I don't have my laptop, and play games.

oh wow. it's nice that your free times match up. I'd love for mine and my cousin's free time to match up. it probably also doesn't help though that she lives about 40 miles away from me. it still counts if you used to live there, I think. you've probably been to more states than I have actually. I've gone to Florida because I have family there and since they live in northern Florida, they often drive to Georgia to shop at the outlets there. oh wait, I have been to more states than you. I forgot that I've been to Oklahoma and Wisconsin, thanks to old school activities that I was involved in before transferring back home.

Now that you put it that way, I think that is what Korean sounds like. That's a really good way to put it.

I would use my phone for the internet, but I don't want to have to pay for it. And I don't get to use it that often anyway, I mean, whenever I would have time to go online with it. I'm usually near a computer anyway. So it doesn't matter. I usually just play games on my iPod though rather than my cell. Actually that's what I got it for, I have the iTouch now. Because I wanted to play games on it. And I thought I needed a new iPod in general anyway.

Yeah, it is, and it doesn't hurt that my friend only lives like 15 minutes from me too. Though since I moved, we're not in the same city anymore, but we're still close enough that it barely matters.

You've been quite a few places. I really think I need to start traveling more.

I guess it is, even though it's messed up to say that, that's honestly how it sounds to me.

my mom just decided one day to buy the three of us (her, me, my sister) iPhones. so the internet kind of comes with it. and it's kind of handy too, since I use it when I'm in class cause I don't bring my laptop with me. the iTouch is fun. my sister got it before we got our phones and I liked playing around on it. I still have my old 60GB iPod that I love. it's in my car cause it's the one I'm going to be using from now on. it has much more songs and more of a variety of music, since I also took my cousins songs from her comp.

nice. yeah, I can't really say the time it takes for me to get to my cousin's house, or vice versa, cause it depends on whether there's traffic or not. it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes. so that's why I just said the miles. when we're together, we have lots of fun. the only thing we haven't tried doing, is going on an adventure, which I really want to do. there's so many places to get lost in both our areas but we always get really sidetracked with doing other things.

yeah. though in my head, I tend to think I've been nowhere. cause most of those places, I've only been to once so they don't stick out in my head as much as Nevada and Florida. so I often forget, as you witnessed with my adding of two states. and I'm going to add another one, Nebraska. that's where my dad's family lives, but I only visited it once when I was 2-3 and again when I was about 7-8, so I don't remember much.

I would have loved to get an iPhone, but I just got a new phone back in March, that renewed my contract with T-Mobile for two years. So I wasn't going to back out of that, the fees too high, to switch to an iPhone, when I could just get the Touch, and it does everything except make phone calls.

Wow, that's a big difference. I'm lucky, I don't really run into that much traffic over here. I mean there can be, but really only really early in the morning and at the end of day, when everyone goes and leaves work. Those damn like 8-5ers. And if you avoid the highways, you can pretty much avoid 80% of the traffic too. I mean, I live in one of the bigger/busier cities of CT, well, used to technically, but I still consider myself from there. But it's not that bad. I can relate to the getting sidetracked thing. I have such a short attention span sometimes. I start out doing one thing, and end up doing another. So things don't always work out right. But they always work out, if that makes sense?

That's understandable. I don't really remember too much from my trips outside the state either. I did most of them when I was young, I really only remember NYC, because I go there quite often now. It's where I get all my CDs and magazines from. There's nothing closer that sells that stuff. It's sad, but it's nice to go on a day trip like that.

well, it helped that our contract with verizon was over and we didn't renew it. I have no idea why my mom decided to up and get us these phones, but I like mine. it's very useful, even though I don't really use it for phone calls except for my mom calling when she's right upstairs in her room...wtf?!

it is. anywhere within the LA area is traffic. it's not much fun. different freeways have different times for when they're traffic-y. like there's one freeway, the one that I use to get to my cousins house, that gets really bad traffic around 2pm and then doesn't clear up until 8pm. I like taking side streets when there's traffic, but sometimes, it's hard to not avoid the freeways. yeah, it makes sense. my cousins and I had a sort of mini-adventure today cause we were lost in an area that none of us were really familiar with. but once we got onto a certain street, I immediately knew where we were.

I'd like to go to NYC one day. oh wow. but I usually equate driving from one state to another on the east coast to driving from one city to another in the west. so maybe I really shouldn't be surprised that you go to NYC for that stuff.

Yeah, that does help. And I dunno how the service over by you use, but for around me ATT isn't as good, and it's more expensive if you're doing a solo plan. So TMobile was a better choice anyway. And I've had that done to me before. I was like WTF? Why is my house calling me when I'm in the house?

That sucks! I don't think I would like that. I would get so frustrated all the time. I hate driving in traffic. I like to drive, so when I'm driving, I want to drive, not sit in the car and move a little bit at a time. I like when that happens. All of a sudden its like I know where I am! That's fun.

NYC is nice, and there's quite a lot to do there, but maybe it's because it's so close, it's nowhere I would want to go for for too long. Like a vacation. Maybe a weekend getaway but nothing much longer than that. And it's not quite like that. Because when I go to the NYC I have to take the train into Grand Central, I could drive, but I won't drive in the city. That's a scary thing right there. So it's like a 40 minute drive to the train station, because I have to go to New York to get to the train station, then it takes an hour and a half on the express train to get from the station to Grand Central. But I love riding on the train. It's fun.

ATT is alright in my area. the only time it sucks is if I'm in a parking garage. and not any parking garage, but one specific one at my school, I don't know why. yeah, ATT can get expensive with a single plan T-Mobile is definitely better for that. I hate it, even if I'm just in the living room or kitchen and can hear her from her room, she still calls. I don't know, maybe she doesn't want to yell, but I'd be less annoyed if she yelled.

I hate traffic too. people are already dumb enough drivers without traffic, that it gets 10x worse in traffic. you'd think it'd work the opposite way, but it doesn't. I love driving, except for if I end up having to run errands for everyone else. I tried getting myself purposely lost on the way home one day and got extremely disappointed with myself cause I failed at it.

that's understandable. I've only ever ridden on a train a total of three times in my life. the first time was from where I live to San Diego and that took about an hour as opposed to the two hours it takes on the freeway (without traffic). the second and third time was a round-trip deal. I took it from my school up north to home and it took about 10 hours and the same for going from home to school. it took about 14 hours to drive, so that was a little better, but I preferred going by plane when I went to school there. getting to New York/Grand Central for you takes less time than it does to get from LA to San Francisco over here.

Yeah, that could get to be really annoying. My friends' mother does that too. And they'll literally be like 10 feet away from each other, in different rooms, and she'll still call. It's like WTF?

I've done that too! I was like, I want to go for a drive, and ended up taking a random turn, only to find it out, it was connected to the road I had just been on, so I only end up going in a circle, and didn't get that lost or anything. It figures the one time I tried to get lost, I got found. Never works out that way otherwise. And why are people such stupid drivers? I have a friend, that I've been in the car with once, and WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN! She's scary! I'm like, OMG! This is why there are accidents!

I want to go on a long train ride, to get somewhere. I've never been on a plane, thought I was going to, but ugh, long story short, I'm not anymore. If you want to know I'll tel you though.

oh geez. that's insane. I don't understand why you would call when you can hear each other perfectly fine without doing it. when my mom calls me, I hear her both on the phone and throughout the house, it's like surround sound.

I hate it when trying to get lost on purpose backfires on you and then when you don't want to get lost, you do and you can't find your bearings. when I was younger, my sister would have to drive me everywhere and the worst thing she ever did while driving was dancing. I don't know how I managed to survive. and my mom, she's not a dumb driver exactly, but her driving scares the crap out of me. like when she sees a stop sign, she doesn't step on the brake until she's right at the line, it hurts. yeah, it's a good idea to not ride with her again. never get into a car with a crazy driver, I don't recommend it.

I've been on many planes in my life. but never on ones going out of the country. I want to go out of the country. aww, what happened? but only if you want to tell me. I wouldn't want you to type something long if you don't want to.

I don't either, and I don't even yell, I hate yelling actually, I don't like to raise my voice. So I'll go and walk to the other person so I can talk to them. I do that at work too, instead of yelling from the front of the kitchen to the back, because there's like a semi-wall between the two. One's the serving area, and one's the prep area. It's almost like there should just be a door between the two, but it's open. I'll go walk around to find whoever I need to ask/tell them whatever instead of just yelling.

Yeah, I wouldn't either. I didn't know how my friend drove before until I ended up in the car with her. That was scary. From now on, I'll volunteer to drive. And I thought I was bad when I was in the car, sometimes, I get a bit carried away when a good song comes on, and I'm singing along and stuff, but I don't dance. Or move my body that much. Okay, this is coming from a person who was scared to sneeze while driving. I'm serious when I say that too. Back when I first got my license.

I've become desensitized to yelling since I basically grew up with it. it's funny, in my house with my family, I talk really loud and to people who aren't used to hearing it, they think I'm raising my voice or yelling, but I'm not, I'm just talking normally. but then when I'm around other people, I have the quietest voice in the world.

good. I know I'm not a good driver, but I'm not a bad driver either. I'm in the middle if that makes sense. I get carried away too if there's a song I like, but I definitely do not dance. I just nod my head along. when I first got my license, I was scared to look at my mirrors for only a split-second. I had this thought that if I did, something would come out of nowhere right in front of the car.

I read it. and again, I'm so sorry about your plans. it's really messed up.

Aww, I'm definintely the opposite. Though when I'm not around people, I talk more normal. lol like when I'm in my car, I have whole conversations with myself or the radio. It's hiliarous. I do that when I'm in my room sometimes too. I'll start rambling about something, because I saw/heard/thought of something. I entertain myself a lot. It's quite easy. I'm so easily amused too.

Yeah, I'd like to think I'm an okay to pretty good driver. Because I know I could probably be a bit better, but I'm not bad. At least I really hope not. And I've had people in my car, and they've never said I was a bad driver. Actually my friend says I'm a good driver, which is why I usually end up driving.

I'm really easily amused. I swear, I don't know how some of my friends on here manage to deal with me and then I realize they're as easily amused as I am. I think my classmates from this semester thought I was crazy or something cause sometimes I'd remember something and then start talking to myself before class started. I talk to myself in my own room too. I'll sometimes ask myself a question and then answer it.

one of the reasons I'm not as good as I should be is because my car's gas pedal is really sensitive. so even just the slightest press and it goes. so since I got used to driving my mom's car before I got mine, I always had to step a little hard on the pedal. and now I do that with my car and then if there's a passenger, they tend to go backwards cause of how "hard" I stepped on it. but other than that, no one's ever really had any complaints about my driving, save for my mom. but she complains about everyone's driving.

I'm so used to being around "normal" people, who don't do these things. And sometimes it makes me feel so weird, for just being so happy go lucky and finding everything funny. I mean, the weirdest things will remind me of something from the boys, and that'll just make me giggle. So it's nice when I find other people that do that.

I have a tendency to drive a bit faster than I'm supposed to. But since I've gotten one ticket and a one warning, in that order mind you, I've been better, well at least in the two towns that I have to drive in, when I'm in the city, (not NYC) just the city I used to live in, I drive a bit faster because they don't care as much. The small towns, the cops have nothing better to do than to wait around for people to be speeding and what not. So I now have all the speed limits memorized for all the roads from my house to work, so I know how fast I can go and where without getting caught, and where they usually like to hide. It's kinda sad. The games they play.

I'm used to that too. So I was really happy when I found people in the fandom. "Normal" people aren't as understanding about fandom matters.

I drive fast too. I guess I've been lucky cause I've been driving for a year and haven't gotten a ticket or warning. then again, when I'm on small side streets, I drive more cautiously cause the cops like to hide in the weirdest places. and I've seen people who drive as fast as I do get pulled over on the freeway and yet I haven't *knocks on wood*

No, they're really not. When it comes to those kind of things, you need to talk to somebody in the know.

You've only been driving for a year? I've had my license since I was 16, so 8 years now. I actually had to get mine renewed already. So I have the "grown up" version. If you're under 21, they give you a license that goes vertical, instead of horizontal. I don't know if they do that every where or not, so. But now we have new licenses, they're prettier than the one I have. But I don't want to have to pay for a new one, so I'll keep mine.

exactly. I'm glad I got my cousin into fandom, but she kind of hates me for doing so, all I have to say is "Massu" to make her forget she hates me.

I tried for my driving test when I was 17 and failed the first time, cause I never really got any practice outside of the 6 hours from the school. and after I failed, I just got so discouraged that I didn't want to be anywhere near the steering wheel. so when I went to University, I intentionally went to one where I wouldn't have to drive. and then when I transferred back home, which was when I turned 21, I got my permit again and forced my mom to let me drive everywhere. I passed the driving test on the first try, with only 2 mistakes, and got my car the next week. eh? the only other license I've seen outside of the Califonia one is Florida, so I don't really know about vertical and horizontal.

Aww, that's funny. It's always nice to have somebody close to you in the fandom too. Whenever I'm sad or upset, my friend knows exactly what to say or who to bring up, and instantly make it all better.

Ohh, yeah, I could see that being discouraging. I was lucky, I passed my first time. Though I thought I was going to fail, I nearly hit somebody. I figured that would be like an immediate failure, not that it was my fault! I was backing into the parking space, as the last thing I had to do, and I was going REALLY REALLY slow, like if I was going 2MPH I was going fast, and this idiot decides to just walk right behind my car.

Here's what ours look like. Except mine is blue, because it's older, that design just came out this year, but it's basically the same thing, it shows how it's vertical and horizontal. And it blatantly says under 21 on it. Aren't they just so nice?

oh wow. I'm glad you passed. and they make you back into parking spaces like in parking lots on your test? we don't get that here, but we do have to parallel park as the last thing for our test. it's good you passed. crazy pedestrian.

oh, that's what I though you meant by vertical/horizontal, now I feel dumb for asking. I would provide a picture of ours, but I had to leave my house so I'll do it when I get back home.

Yeah, it is. Everyone is so nice.

We don't have to parallel park for ours. We have to be able to back in. There isn't that much around here where you would have to parallel park, they teach us, at least they did before. There have been a lot of changes to all that since I got my license, so I'm not sure. And I hate pedestrians. So annoying.

That's okay. If you don't really know, I never knew they went both ways till I got mine. Which wasn't fair, because all my friends got theirs the horizontal way. They had just changed it when I got mine.

that makes sense. we use both lots and parallel parking here, just because if we didn't, there'd be very few places we could park and those places would get overfilled. pedestrians annoy me. I hate dealing with them. especially when they don't know where they're going or if they want to cross the street. and then sometimes, they'll decide to cross diagonally, so none of the cars can tale their turn. and then there are the pedestrians who decide to cross the street when the lights have already turned yellow.

oh. so they changed it to make it easier to identify who's a minor and who's not. that's clever.

my nephew has tae-kwon-do, but I didn't know today was a testing day, so he's not in his real uniform. just his uniform pants and a t-shirt with the place's logo

I've learned from being in NYC how to be a good pedestrian. I would think that that is more what it's like for you. Because there, you have to share the road, where I am, there's not really a lot of pedestrians around, so it's only a pain because there is one.

Yeah! That's what I was trying to get at, but couldn't really think of it, to say it properly. Where is my brain tonight? It's definitely not working for me. It must already be on vacation. Knowing it's a long weekend. I'm off now till Tuesday.

I've always known to be a good pedestrian. but it's changed even more, since now I drive and know what's really annoying. so my thought now is, if I don't want a pedestrian to be dumb when I'm driving, then I shouldn't be dumb when I'm the pedestrian. before I only was a good pedestrian cause I didn't want to get hit by dumb drivers. one of my friend's, on the other hand, thinks "because people are dick pedestrians when I'm driving, I'm going to be a dick pedestrian when other people are driving." oh, yeah. we really do have to share the road. and not just with pedestrians, but also bicyclists. it's funny cause the rules for bicyclists are basically the same as for automobiles, but most bicyclists don't know that and therefore think of themselves as being in the same category as pedestrians. and by funny, I mean more annoying than dumb pedestrians.

it's ok. my brain doesn't work for me sometimes, and it basically happens in the most important of times too. that is a long weekend. it's like a super-mini vacation.

that's what it looks like for over 21. for people under 21, there's a red strip that goes across the card right over the signature area that says when you'll turn 21.

yeah, but he didn't get to do anything since he had the wrong shirt on. completely my fault. he cried in the car on the way home. it was the first biggest disappointment in his life, he's 6.
