omg, that one. It alerted my hsj!radar even before I approached my computer.

btw, random story, I went to my hometown today, because we were supposed to visit my grandma on Saturday (who is not doing very well), but in the end we're not going, because...... my mom has sprained both her ankles. How did she even manage to do that. At least I'm here to take care of her since she can't walk, but apparently it happened yesterday and they didn't even bothered to tell me. I wouldn't even know if I didn't decide to come home this weekend. /end of rant

I'm sorry about your grandma. I was about to ask how your mom sprained both her ankles right after reading it and then I read the rest of it. I hope your mom's ankles heal up soon. maybe they didn't tell you cause they didn't want to worry you so much? but at least you know now.

She had a party with her colleagues last night and since swe was driving, she was the only one not drinking. Anyway, it was dark when they were leaving and going down a stairway, she thought she's already down, but... she wasn't. Sos he stepped into nothing and fell down. Apparently she couldn't even move her legs for few minutes. But one of the girls there graduated some sports faculty, so she knows about rehabilitation and what not. She helpedher to get moving again and then my mom drove(!) herself back home. It's like 1 hour drive. I don't even want to think about what would happen if she suddenly needed to hit the brakes or something. I guess they don't want to worry me, but I still want to know, right? Like.. my mom underwent a surgery few months ago which she didn't really tell me about either. I somehow figured it out myself, otherwise I wouldn't even know! Hell, when I got hit by the car sometime in December I told them! Even when I ended up with bruises only and some random pains I decided to ignore. There are some thing you simply share with your family however worrying they might be. I want to know my family is alright.
