xDD That's too true!

and sadly I'm definitely more like the guy -___-''

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
during school days, I'm more like the girl. but on weekends, I'm like the guy.

[identity profile] zvemi.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
aaaaw, cute!!!

I'm totally the girl, just in different order :D it takes me forever to get ready in the mornings.

hair -> make-up -> powder -> eyeliner -> eye shadow -> mascara -> lipstick

why would you put on mascara first? wouldn't the bits of eye shadow get stuck on it?

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
on school days, I'm the girl. on weekends, I'm the boy.

powder -> blush -> eye shadow -> mascara -> lipstick/lip gloss -> hair

I have no idea how someone puts on mascara first, it boggles my mind. I need to learn how to put on eyeliner.

[identity profile] zvemi.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
really? I'd expect it would be the other way round :) on school days your time in the mornings is limited, but when you go out on weekends, you can take forever. But when you're not going out I totally understand :) it's impossible to get me out of bed. Impossible. :D especially since I take my netbook there with me. Until I absolutely need to go to the bathroom or I'm hungry, I wouldn't voluntarily surrender my bed :D

I don't use blush, my skin turns pink all the time (cold, heat,...), I'd rather use something which has the exact opposite effect :D

I know, it must be in the way for everything else + anything can get stuck on it. I use liquid eyeliner, it's the darkest black and stays on forever. Even after years of using it, I'm still terribly clumsy and can't get the perfect shape, so I use cotton sticks to wipe away anything unwanted. It's fast and works well for me :) I only use eyeliner pen on the lower eyelid and then smudge it. I'm bad at explaining it, but you can alway see the result on my fb :D my eye color is really plain, so I can't do without eyeliner. And with cotton sticks around it's really easy to put it on :)

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
that's why I wake up at 5 am :) since I leave my home at 6, I have an hour to get ready. and I take a shower the night before so I don't have to worry about it in the morning. I don't like leaving my room on the weekends, plus the sun gives me a horrible migraine. I always use my laptop in bed, it's so convenient.

if I just used powder (even with eyeshadow and mascara) I'd look really pale, like a ghost, so I need the blush to make me look alive.

I know. everyone I know always puts mascara on last. my sister does the same thing if she messes up with her eyeliner. when she first started which was over 10 years ago, she'd take about an hour for each eye. now she does both eyes in 5 minutes at the most. I'm just like O_O your eye color is plain? try having brown eyes, the most plain eye color of all.

[identity profile] zvemi.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
I usually wake up hour ~ hour and half before I need to leave :) but I'd prolly try to simplify the whole process if I were you, because waking up at 5am is... inhuman! the sun doesn't like you either? :( I wonder what it wants, tsk..

haha, makes sense :) I'd look like a pig if I used it, lol.

Because it's common sense to put it on last! :D it takes a while to figure out how to use it, but then it's fast :) I think the whole make-up process takes me about 5 minutes altogether, the usual variant at least. When I'm getting ready for a special occasion with contacts, fake eyelashes, sparkles and all, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. It's a work of art XD and I enjoy carefully applying all the layer of everything, even though in the end you can't even see it behind the eyelashes :D I always wanted brown eyes! They're so... dramatic! I love staring into dark eyes, love the intensity. And it's almost impossible to put on too much make-up with brown eyes, it still looks good, whereas with green eyes you need to be careful :/ and without make-up it looks like I have no eyes at all! ___ (<- eyeless smiley, huhm)

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
it is pretty simple for me. I don't really fuss over what to wear either. getting my face washed, make-up on, hair brushed, and putting on clothes, plus my contacts, takes about 30 minutes, if I take my time 45 minutes. so it works just fine. if I've been in my room for a really long time and then have to step outside (like today I had to drive my sister to pick up my nephew), the bright light of the sun gives me a really bad headache.

lol. you're adorable.

it is. I don't know what sane woman would put it on before everything else. makes sense. you don't look like you have eyes without make-up? I don't really get that, but ok. that's true, brown eyes are easy to deal with, but they're really plain and boring.

[identity profile] zvemi.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
okay, I know if I don't have time to lose, it takes me approximately 30 minutes altogether, the process being more or less the same, but instead of poking my eyes out, I shower. Then internet and breakfast and.... XD
:( does wearing sunglasses help? I guess the sun light is more intense there, since you're way more on south than me.

haha

I don't think brown eyes are boring :) they're prolly more common than green, but I still like them. Well, I'm used wearing make-up which is rather heavy (black eyeliner and all) and my eye color is relatively fair, so without make-up on I get the feeling they're much less noticeable or something like that :)

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
oh see, I check my email from my phone, because I keep my laptop off while I'm sleeping. and doing that really helps a lot. and I check it right as my alarm goes off, so I don't lose any time getting ready. I don't really eat breakfast, at most, I'll eat cereal.
I need to get in the habit of wearing sunglasses, but when I'm lazy and decide to not use contacts, I can't put sunglasses on over my eyeglasses.

that's why I think they're boring, cause they're more common and I have them. oh ok, like it makes your eyes stand out? got it.

[identity profile] virtuoussin85.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
That's so cute.

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
isn't it? I was looking for something else but this completely distracted me and as I read through each of them, I was like "so true."

[identity profile] virtuoussin85.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
Don't you just love those little distractions?

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
yes, they are so pleasant

[identity profile] gashinenai.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
bwuhahahahhaaha
strangely on school days I'm like the guy, while on free days I'm like the girl (waaaaay more time to waste)

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-13 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm too lazy on the weekend to be like the girl and plus, I don't go anywhere on the weekends. if I do, I just put on powder and then I like a ghost the whole day

[identity profile] sadistic-dance.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
Dear lord <_< Do girls really do all of that before getting up.

[identity profile] sadistic-dance.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
There was a girls who I sat next to in high school that said beauty was painful. I think that's slightly relevant here.

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
there's more pain to it than just what you see here.

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-15 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
yeah, but girls get used to it, sometimes. basically, it becomes a habit.

[identity profile] morningmikan.livejournal.com 2010-02-23 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm agreeing with everyone else, this is so damn true.

A few weeks ago a co-worker was telling me that she was running behind and had skipped putting on her make-up in favour of having breakfast. I then told her that I had skipped breakfast in favour of putting on make-up (_ _) I have good priorities [/sarcasm]

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-23 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
yup yup.

sorry but your co-worker needs to get her priorities straight, make-up beats breakfast any day. unless it's a lazy day and you really don't have any plans to go out.

[identity profile] morningmikan.livejournal.com 2010-02-24 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yay, I'm not the only one who thinks like this (*≧▽≦)

[identity profile] mstzanicki.livejournal.com 2010-02-24 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
it's always nice to know someone feels the same way you do ^_^
